BREAKING: Kansas City Chiefs 3X All-Pro’s Status For AFC Championship ‘Up In Air’ After Troubling Diagnosis!

On Monday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs received mixed news on star offensive lineman Joe Thuney. The three-time All-Pro underwent an MRI to determine the cause of the injury he suffered during the Chiefs’ win over the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round.

Adam Schefter with ESPN reported that Thuney has a pec injury. He said pec injury is a terrible injury for an offensive lineman to have.

A few hours later, Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network announced Thuney suffered a pec strain. Rapoport presented the news as a positive development for the Chiefs, in contrast to Schefter’s earlier report on a pec injury having a major effect on offensive linemen.

The Chiefs are unsure if Thuney can play the Ravens. However, he hopes to return for the AFC Championship and/or Super Bowl.

The Chiefs need their offensive line to be healthy against the Ravens. The Chiefs appeared to struggle early in the Divisional Round with their play in the trenches. The Ravens will have a strong front seven for the Chiefs to contend with.
